Kristen Dexter announced her candidacy June 7th.   Surrounded by her loving family, she announced, "I am making this decision because it is time for change in Madison. Fifteen years of Republican rule in the Assembly is more than enough."

Dexter said Republicans' leadership has left Wisconsin with schools under siege, families struggling to make ends meet and the budgeting process a national joke.
 
Kristen brings with her many years of experience, having served her community as a member of the Altoona School Board for the past six years, as well as serving on several local area committees and councils.  She has been endorsed by Progressive Majority of Wisconsin and is working hard to win this November.
